Agency Workers Regulations - Client Information

The Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) came into force on the 1st October 2011.  The purpose of these regulations is to ensure that temporary workers are provided the same entitlements as that of an equivalent permanent member of staff.

Compliance whiteboard

Academics understand that full compliance with these regulations is vital, for both the agency and for our clients, which is why we have invested heavily in training to ensure that our consultants and administration staff are confident to provide accurate advice.  We also have AWR Champions who can offer assistance with more technical queries.

Arranging suitable cover is time consuming enough which is why we will work closely with you throughout the entire recruitment process, to ensure any required information, such as school amenities, staff entitlements, school pay and conditions is recorded, and ensure that all placements comply fully with the regulations at all times.

We will monitor long term placements and repeat bookings, to ensure that we are able to advise you in a timely manner of any changes required in order to remain fully compliant.

You can find detailed information regarding Agency Workers Regulations in the following document;
