Exciting Opportunity for an Inspirational SEN Teacher

About Us: This is a specialised school for children aged 2 to 7 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). With a focus on high-quality, multi-disciplinary assessment and early intervention, we provide tailored programs to support each child's unique requirements.

The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our team, focusing on students in Early Years and Key Stage 1. If you have a background in teaching the EYFS and aspire to develop your career in a specialist setting, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2024.

Salary and Benefits for SEN Teacher in Redbridge:

* Competitive salary: MPS 1 £34,502 – MPS 6 £43,193 + SEN scale point (Depending on experience and criteria)
* Located in the Borough of Redbridge
* ECTs are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach a class group of pupils with severe or profound learning difficulties
* Support the school's vision and policies to ensure high achievement and safety
* Provide pastoral care, promoting positive behaviour and relationships
* Plan and deliver a stimulating curriculum tailored to diverse learning styles
* Collaborate with colleagues to implement the school development plan

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) and a relevant degree
* Experience or training in teaching the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
